I will add a short description. It takes most time to wait for every layer of paint and lacque to dry.

  • How to make a decoupage box. Victorian Decoupage Box - Step 1
    Step 1

    Take a simple wooden box and paint it with pink paint, which will be seen in the splits at the end. Wait till it dries.

  • Step 2

    Paint it with antique effect lacquer, than when it dries, paint it with white paint. When adding white paint make sudden movements, dont paint the same place twice.

    Step 3

    Cut out some roses from the napkin and add it on your box with decoupage glue. Make sure you added some glue on the box first, than added a napkin rose and finally added some more glue on top.

    Step 4

    Now add 3-6 thin layers of lacque and you're done!
