  • Step 1

Start by preparing your loaf tin/cake tin by lining it with clingfilm.

Make sure you have enough to cover the base, sides of the tin and some to go over the top at the end.

**Lining your tin with this makes it SO much easier to remove the tiffin when it's cooled!**

    Trust me on this one!!

  • Step 2

    * Start by crumbling all of your biscuits into a large mixing bowl.
You want them in small pieces, but not dust!

    * Add raisins and chopped nuts to the biscuits and mix.

  • Step 3

*Add the 100g to a saucepan and melt.

*When melted, add in the syrup.

    *Stir well

Don't be tempted to have the saucepan heat up too high. You just want it on low-medium heat.

  • Step 4

*Break up the dark chocolate and add to the melted butter and syrup mix.

*Keep stirring this so it doesn't burn

  • Step 5

*Once all chocolate has melted, empty the melted mix into the dry mix

    *Combine well

*Pour all of mix into the loaf/cake tin you prepared earlier.

    Step 6

    Place into fridge to cool.

Leaving it over night gets the best results.

Great recipe! My boyfriend and I made some today - although I used 300 grams of chocolate instead of 400. Seems like it'd make an awesome gift if you cut it up and put it in a cute box Happy

Oh it is Happy
But beware! If you cook it once, you will need to do it again and again....
