A quick sewing guide on replacing a like for like sing chair canopy

    First, lay your good fabric on the floor and spread out your old canopy on top.

    *I used rip stop fabric as it doesn't rip or fray.

    Draw around the outline with tailor's chalk.

    Cut 1/4" outside the chalk line all the way around for a seam allowance.

    Create a fold on the chalk line and pin, working your way all around again.

    Using a sewing machine, sew the hem down using a basic running stitch.

    Pin and sew the corner fittings from the original in the same position of your new copy, including any ties and sew.

    Then attach to your swing chair!!
