Handmade Moccassin style Suede Boots. BUTTERY SOFT
I wanted a pair of soft soled moccassin style boots but wanted a more custom pair. So I bought a $32 piece of suede and did some internet research and this is what I came up with. These boots are sooooooooo soft. I traced my foot and added 1/4 seam. Then from there it was a little trial and error. I found the wrap style is MUCH easier to make then the lace up ones. My next pair will be hard soled and made from a pair of old suede pants someone donated to me :-)I also added a tongue to the boots for support and wear. With the wrap top I can cut many holes in the strap so I can wear the boots tall or slouched. I will try to answer any questions I can about the making of them but keep in mind this is my first pair I have ever made.
