Too cute
Based on the buttercup pattern, but inspired by a watermelon bag by Tara M.

Its a bit more elongated than the original buttercup bag, and has flannel in the top green pannel to give it a bit more uumph.
To make the leaves, I sewed green triangles (honest! they're green in real life, just not in the photos), putting a pleat on the under side to give them a more 3d look (more puffy). I sewed them between the lining and the outer when putting the whole thing together, then tacked them down on the outside to keep them in place.

Its got a simple patch pocket inside to keep my phone somewhere I can find it, and a single button closure.

Next time I think I would make the leaves longer, so they flop more over the red of the "strawberry"
