i go the idea as i was looking around on CO+K and saw that some people made these really awesome steampunk journal/books, i thought the idea was pretty cool so i kinda copied it. however my version is a little different because i'm using a book that i got from the Dollar Store, and faux leather. i covered the book in the faux leather, used tacky glue and a little electrical tape to hold it on.
