Sew a cute squirrel brooch.
I made these squirrel brooches as Christmas presents for my Nana and my boyfriend's Mum. I hope they like them.

Step 1Print and cut out all the template pieces. You can download the PDF.

Step 2Trace around the body, arms and legs twice on to the light brown felt. Remember to flip the template over before drawing the second shape.

Step 3Cut these pieces out.

Step 4Draw around the tail and ears twice and the nose once on to grey felt.

Step 5Cut these out.
To make the rest of the project easier, I used a little bit of glue to stick all the features in place.

Step 6Sew a brooch back to the back of the squirrel.

Step 7Sew a black bead on for the eye.

Step 8Sew around the tail using grey thread.

Step 9Sew around the rest of the body using a matching colour of thread.

Step 10Finally sew a wooden bead to the arms, to look like a nut
also, i love it when i stumble across someone else with a 'nana' instead of a gran or nan ;D
