Cute slippers with pom poms for extra awesomeness!
I made these in the process of attempting to crochet flats. I like how the pom poms are different colors! I know the pattern might be a bit vague at times, but this is to allow as much flexibility as possible in order for you to have a slipper that fits you. Try it on as you go and make changes as necessary. This is my first attempt at writing a pattern, so if you have any questions feel free to ask!
Note: The time may bit a little off- I'm a very slow crocheter and you pros could probably do it in half the time:)

  • How to stitch a pair of knit or crochet slippers. Simple Rainbow Ballet Slippers - Step 1
    Step 1

    SOLE-
Ch about 25 (the chain should be the length from your heel up to just past the ball of you foot.

sc in every ch, sc 7 into last ch (this will be the toe), sc in every ch down other side of ch, sc 4 in last ch (heel)

Round 1- sc in every sc around. increase at toe and heel to keep work flat.

Repeat Round 1 until the sole matches the shape and size of the bottom of your foot. Use your judgment- if it's not long enough, do dc's or trc's around the toe. I recommend doing that anyways for shape. DO NOT FASTEN OFF.

(The picture isn't what you should have so far, all of the photos are different views of the finished product, with and without the poms.)

Nice job! You can leave your lovely slippers as they are OR add pompoms (wrap yarn 50 times around a 2 inch strip of cardboard, slide off and tie in the middle, cut the ends).
You could also weave ribbon into the sides for a different look.
