  • How to make a bracelet. Simple Linked Bracelet - Step 1
    Step 1

The basic looping technique, used to make this bracelet, can be done with a loom or just a hook, as shown here (http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/basic-rubber-band-looping-technique). To begin, fold a green band onto the hook and attach an S-clip.

Now take an orange band and pull it through the loops of the green band with the hook, then place the hook through the other loop of the orange band.

    Step 3

Continue looping different coloured rubber bands in the three-colour pattern until the bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist; about 25 bands is enough for a medium-sized wrist.

Attach the last band to the other side of the S-clip to finish the bracelet. You can make single-coloured bracelets, or experiment with lots of colours and create your own unique look.
