I originally made this for a dog as a small xmas prezzie but as it has no small bits to be swallowed can be made as a first teddy. If you cant understand my instructions then i apologise. . . . im rubbish at writing instructions or directions lol

  • Step 1

Gather your fabric and fold in half (make sure that when you fold it it has enough for 1cm around the template). Pin the template to the folded fabric and cut 1cm out round the template.

  • Step 2

On one of the two pieces of fabric you now have, sew eyes and a nose using the embroidery floss then turn the fabric so face is down and allign with the other piece.

  • Step 3

Using the sewing machine, sew round the template leaving a 1cm gap between the legs (so you can stuff it), with a matching colour to your fabric.

  • Step 4

Once sewn (with gap at the bottom), turn it inside out so that the bunnys face is looking at you. Stuff the rabbit with wadding starting with the legs, arms and the one ear (there is a reason for this).

  • Step 5

Stuff the middle of its body but leaving a small gap inside between the middle and the legs (makes them floppy). Sew up the gap by hand.

  • Step 6

With the unstuffed ear, fold it over at the front of the face and sew so that its folded. And voila
