Rich and yummy!
Ok, found these in a newspaper or somewhere, I don't really know, but I love to bake and these are amazing. Figured I'd share! One key point here is you can modify all the ingrediants for however your feeling. I eat pretty damn healthy so i usually cut down on sugar (if i use it at all).

I'll list the ingrediants below as I HATE dealing with that stupid thingy.

Ok, lets go!!!

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar (white, brown, raw sugar, agave anything goes) I ususally cut the sugar in half or go for 1 cup only.
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour (wheat, white or a mix)
2/3 cup cocoa powder (use dark for a richer cookie, or melted chocolate chips/squares)
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts (optional- I NEVER add nuts, don't like the crunch)

You Will Need

  • Step 1

    Gather ingrediants, preheat oven to 350 F, 175 C.

In a standing mixer or a large bowl, (if ya wanna build some muscle :) mix eggs, MELTED butter, sugar and vanilla. Until light and fluffy!!

Add in the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa until blended.

Add chocolate chips or other delicious candy and nuts if you're using them.

  • Step 2

Drop by spoonful (who eats teaspoon sized cookies anyways), on parchment paper on a sheet or an ungreased cookie sheet.

Just a note, parchment paper (the best invention for a baker/cook) is fabulous. Use it over and over and cleanup is quick and easy.

  • Step 3

Bake 8-10 minutes or until done, remember don't cook chocolate too long. Remove, cool slightly and move to wire rack.

    Enjoy!!
