spice up the boots
We where getting ready for a festival last month and I wanted to wear my boots.These are the same boots I revamped in my Boots project.The paint from the previous revamp started to fade,so I decided to do something new.

    Step 1

    Get your boots,paper tape (regular tape will work too) and spray paint in desired color.

    Make sure you do this outside!

    Remove shoelaces.

    Tape the parts of your boots that you want to keep clear.

    Start spraying!

    Wait for the paint to dry,peel the paper tape off,put the shoelaces back and your done! :)

What kind of spray paint would be best for this? So many of them will peal off of they're moved around too much.

Dr martens! Happy I looove how they look, great job! wouldn't dare to do this to my precious dr martens though o_o I have shoes in that pink colour though.. but they're too big and I already have big feet so my feet look huge when I wear them

Well my previous colors stayed for a year on,but maybe they will stay even longer,but I always recolor them by then. Happy
I used spray paint that is used for repainting cars and bicycles and added a coat of clear paint too.
