I was inspired and took notes from this project and made a skirt instead!
I took the largest measurement of my lol BELLY (I carry my biggest pudge around there) from a piece of scrap fabric, an old sheet actually, cut it in half with 2 pieces one back one front, hem, made a bunch of ruffles attached them in no fancy way - no hem with these tho because I used cotton jersey, teeshirt material - (if the ruffles lift up you can see my old sheet underneath lol you can use something that matches but I work with what I have no biggy) put the good sides together sew it up and attached an elastic, I sewed two rows of 3 inch fabric to pull off a high waist look, its SO CUTE.
