You Will Need

Step 1
Start with damp hair, not wet, but just slightly damp.

Take a small section of your hair (the bigger it is the bigger your curls will be), and comb it through to get rid of any tangles.

Step 3Then roll this hair around 2 of your fingers, starting from the top of your head.

Step 4Then take a strip of material (mine were about 1" by 6") and pull it through the loop you made with your fingers.

Step 5Tie the material in a knot and repeat this 'til you've done your whole head. (I used 8 strips in total, but it depends on how much hair you have/ how tight you want your curls to be.)

Once your whole head is done, you're going to need to leave it to dry. I usually just sleep on it and it's fine in the morning, but you could use a hair dryer if you're feeling impatient.

I find that when sleeping on it it's a good idea to put a scarf over your head to stop anything coming undone.

Step 8Then once it's all dried, remove the material gently, and your hair should be curled.

Repeat this for your whole head.

Then just comb your fingers through it, to seperate the curls.
