I'm a major psychology geek and finally made something to show that off. These are quilled earrings based off of a typical brain lobe diagram, complete with brainstem.

how did you make it? I'd love to do something similar but it's been years since i've quilled and I'm not sure if you just painted on the glaze. Also, if you don't mind me asking, how did you attach the earring hooks to the paper?
