and inlaid with tiny dots, depicting trite scenes from your life in a satirical manner and bringing them to life in a new way through art.

You Will Need

Step 1Trace around your hand with a pencil.

Step 2Add any other details you want to include in your composition, such as nail polish bottles and puddles of paint.

Step 3Paint in flat layers and leave to dry.

Step 4Once dry, decide what colour dots your surface needs. You want to layer the colours so that they read as one from a distance. For example, to create skin tones, layer different shades of warm colours – peach paint with red-brown dots – to ‘read’ as tan.
