• 

  Step 1

  cut two straps of fabric. just like so

• 

  Step 2

  Make the hem on on edge.

• 

  Step 3

  You should have something like this.

• 

  Step 4

  Now sew both pieces together. You should have a long piece of fabric.

• 

  Step 5

  Now, get your iron. and iron the hem you made on both pieces of fabric that are now sewn together.

• 

  Step 6

  Now start making the pleats. they should all be going into the same direction and try to make them the same size.

• 

  Step 7

  keep doing it until you're done with the skirt.

• 

  Step 8

  Iron the pleats you made until you're satisfied with the result.

• 

  Step 9

  Now cut a strap of fabric as long as your skirt and as thick as your belt (add 4cm for security)

• 

  Step 10

  Now be careful, this step is very tricky.

  You want to sew on the strap of fabric to the skirt. (it's where the elastic is going to be)

  sew it on the inside of the skirt.

  Step 11

  Something like this

• Step 12

  sew both ends of the skirt together.

• 

  Step 13

  then add an elastic using the security pin and you should be done.
