The perfect way to snazz up a boring wrist-watch
I bought this watch back in the April, but when I wore it to summer camp, the humidity actually made the original white paint peel off! It was pretty awful looking at this point, so I decided to repaint it using good ole nail polish, and the piano design looked great. I don't have pictures from when I was painting it, but it is very self-explanatory. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I hope you guys are too, enjoy! :)

  • How to make a watch. Piano Watch - Step 1
    Step 1

Gather together a nice, metal expansion band wrist-watch that needs some remodeling, white nail polish with a small brush, and a black nail art pen.

    Step 2

Stretch out your watch so that the bars will seperate from eachother. This way after you paint, each bar can dry, and not stick to eachother.

    Step 3

Paint each bar white, and when they have all dried COMPLETELY, remove your watch from the object, and allow it to unstretch. Then, following the pattern of a piano's black keys, use your nail art pen to draw black bars.

Finally, after the black paint has dried as well, stretch your watch out again and apply a thin coat of top shine/top coat to protect it from weathering. At last, go out and show off your totally "in tune" watch :)
