super cute and delicious to eat.
i'm doing all my christmas baking and as i was mentally "filling" the tins with what i've made so far i realized i lacked something "peanutty".

..so i went on a hunt, and found this adorable idea.

I found the recipe!: http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Peanut-Butter-Christmas-Mice

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup peanut halves
Green & Red M&M's
Mini semisweet chocolate chips
60 to 66 pieces red shoestring licorice (2 inches each)
OPTIONAL: Cake decorator holly leaf and berry candies

Recipe says it makes about 5 dozen, so you'd need about 5 dozen of the M&Ms (2.5 doz each of red & green), and then about 120 of the mini chocolate chips (60x2)

it's a peanut butter cookie recipe, almost identical to the one you see on the back of some peanut butter jars, minus the baking powder.
i can't wait to see your version!
