With feathers and beads
This is an alteration more than a sewing project. My friend gave me a purple velvet dress, and I decided to make it into a costume. I heavily altered the dress to the shape it is now and added all of the extra bits (beads, feathers, crystals, etc). I also made a matching hairpiece.
