turn a greetins card into a 3D one
These have been around for years and years and where originally made with the little bags you get with teabags. But you can now get all kinds of printed tile papers from craft shops and the net.

You Will Need

  • How to fold an origami shape. Original Tea Bag Folded Star - Step 1
    Step 1

    Start off with 8 tea bag folding tiles.

    with printed side showing, fold both ways diagonally. Then fold just 1 side with the white (back) showing. Do this to every tile.

    Now fold all your tiles inwards into a triangle. Its hard to explain but I hope it makes sense. Your tile should now look like this.

    Link all your triangles together, making sure only half of each triangle is showing. I find its less fiddly using a dab of glue. Again, I hope that makes sense.

    Your end result should hopefully look like this :).
