So Easy! So Handy!
Okay, so you got a t-shirt that is too faded or may have a tiny hole so you can't give away but you're attached to your shirt and don't want to use it as a rag. We have a few of those around the house and I decided to make some T-Shirt bags with them - giving these old favorites a new life. I enjoyed this project because I did not need to drag out my sewing machine. We used the bags on our shopping trip at the mall and it held up just fine. Here is a tutorial on how to make your own T-Shirt bag.

You Will Need

  • How to sew a t-shirt totes. No Sew T Shirt Bag - Step 1
    Step 1

    Cut off sleeves by cutting along seams. Cut out collar in a squared shape and finally, cut an even amount of strips along the bottom of shirt. Lines show where you will cut.

    Step 2

    Tie double knots along the bottom of the shirt matching front with back.

    Step 3

    Tie shoulder strapsand they turn into handles. Tie your straps in different ways for other looks. Have Fun!
