Solved! For when there is NO wrapping paper!
I always have this issue that in my house, there is always NO WRAPPING PAPER...*sigh*
So I Get away with murder my making with newspaper and ribbon. And just making it look cute, cause the thought always counts, its free!

Step 1This is what you will need.
*The Books are the gift I wanted to get rid of them, I'm not religious neither is my family and a friend gave them to my mom. lol*
*I took the comics pages, no one wants to read about how many were killed the night before on there Bday present.

Step 2I start by wrapping it. One side first, and then thee other, with the packing tape...

Step 3...once you have it folds, push the top parts inside like this...

Step 4...Now fold like this, the overlapping part, you should fold it double and tape it...

Step 5...Now they should look something like this...

Step 6...with the ribbon, cut a piece, and wrap it around the books. Tape securely into place...

Step 7...Now do the same, on the opposite side, making a cross. Make sure, they look symmetrical...

Step 8...To decorate this wonderful gift, with the same type of ribbon make a bow, (take an approximate 5 inch piece, fold it in one side and secure it. Do the same thing with the other side. Then take a smaller piece, and wrap it and secure it, making it look like this.)...

Step 9...Wallaaaaa! There you go a very free, wraping paper, looks very cute and also you are helping recycle yourr news paper.
