• 

  Step 1

  Gather your supplies.

  You will need:

  A cutting tool (scissors or Xacto)
  Magnetic tape (or an old magnet and glue)
  Packaging tape
  Fake mustaches (found in bubble-gum machines, novelty stores, and online)

  Optional:
  Modge Podge (or any glue that dries clearly)
  Paitbrush

  Step 2

  Measure out a piece of packaging tape large enough to cover the back of your mustache.

• 

  Step 3

  If your mustache has one, peel off the paper backing.

• 

  Step 4

  Stick your 'stache fuzzy side up onto the tape.

• 

  Step 5

  Cut off the extra tape from the mustache, but leave the back covered.

• 

  Step 6

  Measure and cut out a strip of magnetic tape as long as your mustache. You don't need to cover the back with magnet tape, but put on just enough to hold it's weight.

• 

  Step 7

  Peel off the paper backing of your magnet tape and stick it to the back of your 'stache.(or glue the old magnet onto the back of your mustache.)
  Make sure you can't see the magnet from the front, if you can just trim it.

  Step 8

  And there you have it. Mustache Magnets!

  Step 9

  **This step is optional**
  If you have a very fuzzy mustache that seems to lose hair, you can brush a clear glue onto it with a paintbrush to stop the shedding.

  Step 10

  Stick them onto things! Make pictures silly! Hold memos in place! Confuse and bewilder people! Have fun and please post your versions.
