  • How to embroider . Minikin Garden - Step 1
    Step 1

    You will need…

    Fabric:
    12 x 8" (30x20cm) white cotton/linen fabric

    Threads – DMC six-stranded cotton:
    350 Medium coral
    444 Dark lemon
    906 Medium parrot green
    907 Light parrot green
    995 Dark electric blue
    B5200 Snow white

    Needles:
    Embroidery: size 7 and 9
    Milliner: size 8

    Hoop:
    5 x 9 inch, oval (12.5x22.5cm)

  • Step 2

    Print the design provided in the download and transfer it on to the fabric using your preferred method.

    Step 3

    Embroider the flowers according to the embroidery instructions, by following the pattern key:

    Chain 906 (2)
    Chain = embroidery stitch
    906 = DMC thread colour
    (2) = number of strands

    These are the two flowers on the left.
