Based on Mini Oriental Desk Panel by Yvette K.
For my version I used card board, white fabric, a craft knife, scissors, a ruler, a pencil and a silver pen.

I cut out three peices of card board with tabs. I cut out the middle section of each peice to create a frame. I then wrapped fabric around each frame and glued it down and added strips of card board. The middle panel has a floral decoration. I glued the floral shapes onto the frame then added the strips of card behind them.

Because the fabric was wrapped around the card board a silhouette appears through the fabric.

The tabs that connect the pannels were coloured in with the silver pen.

Thanks to Yvette for the inspiration.

i like that you cut out parts for slight transparency. you could also glue tracing paper (or if you're really fancy, vellum) to the back of the bristol board.
