Medusa Inspired Headdress for a Costume Party
For Halloween, I was "Medusa". I got 4 packs of snakes from the dollar store, and hot glued them to(what I think was a round bra insert- a felt circle reinforced with cardboard would work just as well. Then I used some wire, and some colorful corrugated tubes(straws will work too), just to give it some dimension. I stuck it all to a headband and that was that!

Of course some interesting makeup + the costume made it pop more. :)

This is seriously fantastic.

So my sister and her friends do fire spinning events and outdoor raves, things like that and she's always looking for quirky things to make herself stand out. This is perfect idea!

That's so awesome! The colors of these snakes looked great under a black light too.

I found them at a local dollar store. Many of the party supply stores have them too(or eBay). Good luck!
