Boards for your keys and notes!
I made these to give to my family for christmas.
They're styrofoam and wood boards, covered in fabric and adorned with hooks, so you can put them up on the wall near your door and use them to hang your keys on and as a pin board for shopping lists, phone messages etc! The message on them "willkommen zuhause" is German for welcome home.
I made matching owl keyring pendants for each one, using this lovely tutorial from pavlov:

Well I guess it's one of those sayings. I imagine there are quite a number of home decorations with this on them. I did not consciously steal the idea for the project though ;) .
