The netting covering clementine boxes is fabriclike and fun to work with.
Hold the card open and flat, face up.
Measure and cut a square piece of netting that is slightly smaller than the card.
Fold the square in half and cut a heart shape from the center, being sure to leave some netting at the top and bottom so the square remains as one piece.
Open the square and place in the center of the card.
Sew a straight line from the top center of the netting, over the netting, through the empty heart space, and over the netting again to the bottom of the netting.
Using the presser foot of the sewing machine as a guide, sew additional lines to the right of the first line, until the right side is attached to the card.
Repeat, using the presser foot of the sewing machine as a guide, sewing additional lines to the left of the first line, until the left side is attached to the card.
Trim the ends of any loose threads on the front and inside of the card.
