You Will Need

Step 1Thread strands of embroidery thread through needle, leaving about a four inch tail and knotting the long end.

Step 2Insert needle into fabric and pull through so the knot catches.

Step 3Add top layer of fabric. Bring needle around the edges and back through the front, pushing the needle through both layers of fabric. Be sure not to pull too tightly or you can damage the felt.

Step 4Continue to do this, keeping your stitches evenly spaced, until you reach the end.

Step 5On your last stitch, pull the needle through the loop and gently pull to create a knot. Pull needle through that loop to create a double knot.
