Pearl and ribbon layered necklace tutorial

    Step 1

    Gather your supplies. I used 4 mm and 6 mm yellow glass pearls with gunmetal chain and dark gray satin ribbon.

    Step 2

    String larger beads on beading wire and attach to ribbon clamps using crimp beads and crimper.

    Add a slightly shorter layer of chain to the ribbon clamps.

    Step 4

    Add smallest row of 4 mm beads and attach them to the ribbon clamp with crimp beads and a crimper. You can optionally tangle them or add a brooch to customize it. You can also keep layering as long as you like.

    Attach satin ribbon to ribbon clamps. I used a dab of E-6000 before clamping the ribbon closed. You can also add Fray Check to the other ends of the ribbon or *carefully* use a flame to seal the ends so they don't fray over time.
