As the black bird in the spring.......
I made this in my jewelry and sculpture class. First, we sketched out a word, then cut it out of carrdboard twice, then used strips of cardboard around the edges, paper mached over the whole thing, primed it white, then painted it. The song painted around the outside is Aura Lee. This was very time consuming, but I'm happy with the results.
