You Will Need

Step 1Once again I forgot to take pics while making so please settle for more action shots.
First, lay your shorts out and decide where you want your hand prints.
Next squirt some paint in your palm and rub it between your hands and cherish the childhood memories.

Step 2Then as evenly as you can, lay your paint-y hands down on the appointed spots. For the craft paint I had to do this about three times to get a good solid color. Between layers I used the blowdryer to dry and heat set.
Flip your shorts and repeat.

Step 3I meant to---but never did---iron over the handprints with an iron and wax paper just to make sure to heat set them, but I never have had a problem with acrylic on fabric before.
