Fondant

Based on Fondant by Cheap Champagne
Cake for the boyfriend's birthday. Fondant is much stickier than I expected it to be!

Yellow because that's his favorite color.

The letters in the Happy Birthday were cut out with icing stencils, then popped onto the cake. Water makes the fondant stick, and any excess powdered sugar can be wiped off with a wet paper towel.

Also included-- a picture of my purple hands.

(And no, my boyfriend isn't four... I just couldn't think of anything else yellow to put on top of the cake besides a duck. And it's much better than the giant cupcake last year that split in half before he even got home.)
