    Step 1

    Draw a hexagon on a thick sheet of drawing paper. Draw arcs on all the edges so that you will get a flower shaped design inside the hexagon.

    Cut out the flower.

    Fold two of the petals as shown in the image. You can use a scale to get a uniform crease.
    Do this on all the sides with every two adjacent pairs of petals.

    When you are done you should get a star shaped crease like this.

    Fold from the center of one petal to the center of the exact opposite petal like this.
    Do this with all the petals.

    It will look something like this when you are done.

    Start folding like this along the creases.

    When you are done folding all the creases you should get a folded hexagon like this.

    Flatten the flaps in any one direction.

    Open the card and punch holes on any of the two opposite flaps and string it through with pieces of threads.

    Design the card as you like is. I have drawn pretty little hearts :)

    Write a message in the center and fold it up again.
