  • How to make a collages. Flower Collage On Canvas! :D - Step 2
    Step 2

First you will need to make a template to trace around to make all of your flowers. I glued a flower shaped piece of paper onto a piece of cardboard, then cut it out.

    Step 3

Now your ready to start cutting! Choose a piece of magazine with the right colour that you want on it and then turn it over and trace around your flower template. Make sure you trace it on the side that you want to be glued to the canvas because otherwise you will have pen marks on the side that will be seen.

    Step 8

    <- like this
Try and use your flowers that have the worst pattern/picture on them because then you can use your good ones for the front.

    Step 9

Start gluing the backs of flowers and sticking them over the canvas. Make sure there are no gaps where you can see the canvas. Mine didn't matter as much because I was using an old canvas painting that was pink so you couldn't really tell.

    Step 10

keep covering until done and then brush over some extra PVA glue and try to flatten out any bumps in the paper. This will also make it shinier. Remember the PVA glue goes on white and drys clear!

    Step 11

OPTIONAL -I dotted on spots of glue and then sprinkled glitter over to make it look cooler! Or you can just leave it as is.

WOW that's really cool, I think I will use my butterfly craft punch because it's quicker than cutting though it does mean I have to glue a lot more because the butterflies measure only about half an inch...
