this simple cowl appear complicated! Choose the tall version for extra warmth or the wide version for versatility; wear it loose or doubled for a cozy look.
Knitcircus Ringmaster Worsted 100% Superwash Merino, 277 yd/150g, 1 cake. Colors: tall version: Imaginary Best Friend Impressionist, wide version: Total Eclipse of the Yarn
US 8 circular 24 ” cable.
1 stitch marker
25.5 sts and 24 rounds = 4” in 4x2 ribbing, unstretched. Gauge is not crucial to this project, but will affect finished size and drape.
Adult: Tall [Wide]
Tall: 11.5” tall x 20” around. Wide: 6” tall by 50” around.
CO 132 [264
] sts and join for working in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker at end of round and slip marker every rnd.
Rnd 1: Work 4x2 Ribbing: *K4, p2, rep from * to end of round.
Cont to work Rnd 1 until work measures approx. 11.5 ” from CO edge, or work until you are nearly out of yarn.
Use a stretchy BO of your choice.
Weave in ends, block gently.
