Cute easy way to keep your ears warm! (even if you're not a good knitter!)
I found this idea on a blog of which I no longer have the address for, so full disclosure, it wasn't my idea!
I don't really knit (the original was crocheted) but I used a nubby yarn so it hides any flaws.
It is ten knit stitches wide and as long as it took to fit around my head! - once the desired length was obtained, the ends were sewn together to create the loop.
I had a bunch of buttons to choose from already in my stash, so just chose and arranged them accordingly - they are stitched on with yarn. :-)
