So you wanna be Rasta?
Have you always wanted dreads, but are afraid of committing to them? Want to see how they look before you DO commit?

Well, now you can!

With your dread wig, you can see how you'll look in dreads!

I will tell you, you'll probably have a sore arm after, as it takes a couple of days, unless you're fast.

Put your wig (I used my ratty pirate one from Halloween) on your wig head, then stick bobby pins in it (make sure you go through the styrofoam!) to make it stay.

Section your wig using baby hair elastics.

I recommend putting the wig head between your knees or feet to keep it still.

    Heat sealing!

Once you have some dreads done, get some small heat source going (hair dryer or space heater). I used my space heater on full heat. Snip the elastic out of the dreads before putting them in the heat!

Put your dread in direct line of the heat, and make sure you see the frizzy extra strands curl up and go close to the dread.
This seals the dreads together, because it slightly melts the fibers in the wig.

They should start to look like this.

This is 7 complete, and heat sealed dreads.
