At least 1/2 skein of yarn (category 6 - super bulky weight: bulky, roving yarn)
Size “p” crochet hook
Large eyed needle

Make a slip-knot, (approx. 10-12” from the end of the strand of yarn)
Chain 13 (you can add or subtract to adjust the size)
dc in 3rd loop from hook, repeat dc to the end of the 1st row, chain 3
dc in 3rd loop from hook, repeat dc to the end of the 2nd row, chain 3
repeat until scarf is desired length.
Tie a knot in the last dc, cut yarn (leave several inches)

Then, thread the large-eyed needle using the 10-12” length of yarn from the beginning of the project. Sew the ends together.
Use the length of yarn (from the end) to reinforce the seam.
