Step 1Wrap the box
Take out a small carton; stick both outer and inner perimeter with double-sided tape. Choose your favorite fabric to wrap the box (here I choose linen fabric). Fold both sides in a nice shape as it is shown below. Cut out a cardboard smaller than the bottom of box; prepare two pieces of cotton lining. -
Step 2Make the lid
Cut out a piece of linen fabric; lay cotton fabric between cardboard and linen fabric. Wrap the cardboard with double-sided tape at four angles. Place the bottom lining into the box. Make the lid in the same way. Make sure two sides of lid are well folded. -
Step 3Do some decorations
Decorate the box by gluing lace trims at right side of the lid. Glue a wooden button at upper left of the lid. Then a modified jewelry box comes into being.
