This is a really quick, easy DIY to give a plain old doormat a bit of style!

You Will Need

Step 1Here are the supplies I used for this DIY. You'll need to create a design for the doormat, mine is the word 'Hey' but it could be as simple as a star or heart shape. Whatever takes your fancy!

Step 2Transfer the design onto a piece of card, cut to the same size as the doormat.

Step 3Cut out the design using a sharp Stanley knife.

Step 4Once the design has been cut out, place the cardboard onto the doormat. Holding the cardboard firmly into place, apply an even layer of fabric spray paint.

Step 5Remove the cardboard, allow to dry and you're done! Enjoy your nice new personalised doormat!
