Simple, cheap and effective way to add some character!
How I turned a dull concrete floor into a work of art!

    Step 1

    Make sure you properly clean and wash down the floor. Vacuum up any dirt and remove any dirt.

    Using floor paint, cover the floor in one flat colour. I'm using a dark grey!

    Use a pencil, ruler and tape measure to mark out your pattern. I'm doing a fairly simple geometric design, so I marked out a grid of squares 30cm x 30cm first.

    I then went back over and added diagonal lines to finish off the geometric pattern.

    You can then begin to paint the pattern with your second colour of choice. I'm using a very light grey, that looks almost white.

    You may need to add a second coat of the lighter colour, but then you're done! You can enjoy your nice new patterned floor.
