You Will Need

    Step 1

    Trace a button onto a piece of fabric.

    Embroider a design on it (or you can leave it plain) and cut it out with a 1/4 inch border around the button shape.

    Using thread, sew a running stitch around the outside edge of the circle.

    Put the button on the fabric, and then pull the thread tight.

    Step 5

    Glue down the edges, then cut another circle of fabric (I cut mine the same size as my button) and glue that on top.
