Use foam, dye, and grout to create a faux layered cake letter!

  • Step 2

    Trace your letter onto the styrofoam, and cut out using a hot knife.

    Paint the edges of the letter using the sponge, getting the paint into all the crevasses.

    Step 4

    Mix the RIT dye with the tile adhesive in a bowl, and spread between the layers of foam, as you would spread frosting, and create a 3-layer letter.

    Decorate the letter as desired, using tile adhesive, dyed tile adhesive, and some cake decorating utensils!
