a little splatter art cake... or an eagle egg...
This cute little cake was made from the leftovers I had from making the "easy cake pops". I frosted a little 8" cake with french vanilla frosting and drizzled it with dark chocolate. I'm horrible at cake decorating so I didn't do anything fancy with the dark chocolate I just took some spoonfulls and let it drop all over it randomly. I like to think of it not as a mess, but more as a little abstract art cake OR a cake that is supposed to resemble an eagle egg.
Either way it was great!
