    Step 1

    1. Chain 6. Attach the first chain to the last with a slip stitch. Now you have a ring of stitches.
    2. Chain 3 (this is the first dc). Chain 1.
    3. 1 dc + 1 slip stitch. Repeat until you have 10 dc in the ring. Between every dc there's 1 chain stitch.
    4. 1 slip stitch in the first dc. Change colour.
    5. 1 sc + 2 chain stitches (= the first dc) in the adjacent 1-chain-opening. Do 1 dc in the same 1-chain-opening. Chain 1.
    6. Do 2 dc in every 1-chain-opening. Do 1 chain stitch in between every set of 2 dc. When you've gone round, do 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch you did at the beginning of this row.
    7. 1 slip stitch in the next dc. Change colour.
    8. 1 sc + 2 chain stitches (= the first dc) in the adjacent 1-chain-opening. Do 2 dc in the same 1-chain-opening. Chain 1.
    9. Do 3 dc in every 1-chain-opening. Do 1 chain stitch in between every set of 3 dc. When you've gone round, do 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch you did at the beginning of this row.
    10. 1 slip stitch in the next 2 dc. Change colour at the last stitch.
    11. 1 sc + 2 chain stitches (= the first dc) in the adjacent 1-chain-opening. Do 1 dc in the same 1-chain-opening. Do 1 slip stitch + 2 dc in the same 1-chain-opening.
    12. *Do 1 chain stitch. Do 2 dc, 1 chain stitch, 2 dc in the next 1-chain-opening.* Repeat what's in between * until you've gone round. When you've gone round, do 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch you did at the beginning of this row.
    13. 1 slip stitch in the next dc. Change colour.
14-16. Do 1 sc + 2 chain stitches (= the first dc) in the adjacent 1-chain-opening. Do 2 dc in the same 1-chain-opening. Do 1 chain stitch. Do 3 dc in every 1-chain-opening.
