You Will Need

Step 1MDF disc from eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301727229525
Clock mechanism - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/360740443488
Paint - -
Step 2Mark off half of the disc using the centre hole as a guide. Make sure your tape is well stuck to ensure the paint doesn’t bleed underneath.

Step 3Paint the area, making sure to wipe off any excess paint that runs down the edge. You will need to gradually build it up in layers.
I used standard emulsion and applied 3 coats. -
Step 4Once the paint is fully dry carefully remove the masking tape and fit the clock mechanism.
You can make a set of 3 or 4 in different colours or shades to display together, or use more tape to mark off and paint each triangle a different colour for a bold, geometric design!
