Simple way to patinate copper
Lots of you may love the green on copper, but not want to wait months for it to take place naturally or have the chemicals to do it at home. Here is a simple way to give it a try.

You Will Need

Step 11. black negative - coper wire, red positive - work, 9v battery. Bicarb in the bottom.

Step 22. the copper wire will fizz, don't have your work and the copper wire touching

Step 33. leave for a few mins

Step 44. this is after about five mins

Step 55. I put it back in

Step 66. this is after ten, you can leave it for longer if you like.

Step 77. then leave to dry... you may have to wax it or lacquer it afterwards
