Knitivity: Create Your Own Christmas Scene
Baby Jesus can be posed tucked right into his swaddling cloth, as in a traditional Nativity scene. But if you prefer, why not have his little arms reaching out to his mom and dad? Or, just for fun, see how cute he looks with a little toe poking out. If you think he’s getting a bit hot, see how sweet he looks in just his cream knitted underwear.

Stitch the legs to the lower edge of the body at the outer corners. Stitch the arms to the body, just below the neck.
Using dark yellow yarn, work a few French knots along the top seam of the head for the hair.
Using the black yarn, make two French knots for the eyes.
